Tourism Grants

The Tourism Support Programme or TSP  is applicable to companies and closed corporations that operate in the Tourism industry. The programme is open to accommodation suppliers, tour operators and certain passenger transport services as well as private museums The programme currently allows for a tax-free cash grant of up to 30% of investments made in qualifying assets.

Automotive Grants

This grant was specifically developed for the automotive industry is called the Automotive Investment Scheme (AIS). The scheme forms part of the proposed Automotive Production and Development Programme (APDP) intended to grow and develop the automotive sector.

The Manufacturing Investment Grant Programme or MIP forms part of the DTI’s Enterprise Investment Program. The grant is applicable to companies and closed corporations that operate in the value adding Manufacturing industry. The programme currently allows for a tax-free cash grant of up to 30% of investments made in qualifying assets.

News from the DTI

The DTI's grants new Business Process Services Grant  came into effect in January 20011 and aim to reduce the cost of business process outsourcing operations in SA, as investors will be paid up to R112 000 for each full-time job created and maintained.
